Bates says he will appeal in the High Court against the 15-point deduction imposed on the club after going into administration, arguing that there has not been an independent hearing. But Bates would be breaking FIFA statutes by taking his dispute outside the recognised authorities and so would be liable to sanction from the FA.

It would be great to see them punished/belittled by the Football League, the FA and FIFA as well. Then they really wouldn't have a leg to stand on. Of course, it won't be their fault. They were in the Champions League you know.
