The intellectual debate on here is too demanding for me: is it Pry-mark, is it Pree-mark?

My immediate thought is Pry- mark, but one shouldn't go on knee-jerk decisions. I need to think this one through and get back to you...............................

Calling Pri- Pre I believe started with Declan Curry of BBC, he was interviewed in Ireland talking about Premark (Pri-) and the chain of shops started in the emerald isles.
Anyway in Ireland the chain of shops are called PREMARK and not PRIMARK.
Does that answer your question!!!

How many times have you had to say it in the last few tears then? Your life can't be that good if it's quite a few...

My Nan insisted on shopping at Primark. It's dead embarassing for a 14 year old lad to have to unveil his new hi-tech trainers at P.E., I can tell thee.
