I think as long as those nominating planned to at least listen to commentary on the radio they should be allowed to partake, otherwise the forum might start getting a reputation for being too esoteric.

 I remember it as being rain rather than snow, and it not being much worse when abandoned than when started.  We did win the replayed game , Brighton went up that season.

  My favourite abandonment was v Bradford City for fog.  Dear Mr Elleray tried to get it finished as we were 3-0 up.  But you could hardly see past the end of your arm.....definitely the thickest fog I've ever seen.  We then ended drawing the replayed game 2-2, when Bradford equalised in about the 7th minute of added on time,  this was of course before boards and announcements.

Grimsby a few years ago, Kevin watson screamer we were one up and i think they ahd ten men (IIRC?), then the ref inexplicably devided it had got more frozen than earlier in the match.  Drew the rematch too.
