Brian Kerr (born 12 October 1981, in Bellshill) is a Scottish international footballer, having won three caps for the national side. He currently plays for SPL side Hibernian, after he signed a two-year contract in the summer of 2007, he previously played for Motherwell.
Kerr joined Motherwell from Newcastle United in the summer of 2004, knocking back offers from German giants Borussia Dortmund to join his home town team. However, having been with the club for less than a month, his career took a setback when he suffered cruciate ligament damage in a pre-season friendly with St Mirren, leaving him out of football for eight months. Since recovering from his injury, Kerr re-established his place in Motherwell's first-team squad, he scored his first goal for the club, as well as the club's first goal of season 2005-06 with a spectacular strike in a 4-4 draw with Celtic. Kerr left Motherwell after signing a pre-contract agreement with Hibernian on a two-year deal for the 2007-08 season.[1] Kerr scored on his debut for Hibernian against rivals Hearts on 6 August 2007.[2]

sounds a bit too much like Adams! Apart from playing international football and playing for a Premier league club and playing in Scotlands top divison too, which Adams hasnt. i meant small, injured, and backing off from tackles |

Didn't he manage the Micks a while back, and wasn't much good. I have to say, that's who I thought this thread was about. I've never heard of this other Brian Kerr. I have however heard of Graham Kerr, aka Teh Galloping Gourmet. Arguably the first genuine TV 'Celebrity Chef', who was about 30 years ahead of his time. I have also heard of Jim Kerr, former (or maybe current for all I know) lead singer of Simple Minds. I think I have also heard of some one called Dylan Kerr. I haven't the faintest idea what he does though :? |

Its a good point...Kerr was ahead of his time in many ways, but I'd argue the first celebrity chef was Fanny Craddock. She looked a lot like my mother's best mate, and they both used to frighten me, with the way they ordered their husbands around. Dear old Johnny Craddock....perhaps one of the last cravat wearers on TV. I reckon Fanny was crap in bed.....not like Fanny Hill. |

Apparently Malpas denied on the radio today that we are going in for Kerr, he also said there looking to bring in 3 or 4 players by the end of the window including possible 1 or 2 before forest, the Adver today claims Watfords McNamee (left winger is one of them). So fatters first slice of humble pie could be served as early as today, no doubt you wont like the player though :-))(

I think Pook will be going whoever comes in ...
as to who we should sign - well its clear we need a striker - obviously like everyone else I want Cox .. Rory Fallon would be a good option altho he is a bit similar to what we have.
as to midfield - I actually do believe we need another central mid - someone quick and strong in the tackle - and to be fair to Malfoy there are not a lot of realistic signings we can make - but Ill put my thinking cap on and try and come up with someone today that sounds feasible - what with the takeover I havent really been thinking about signings for quite a while now - makes a nice change
