Absolutely agree Arriba.

If Wills Jnr is still involved then the Greek will be there as Wills Jnr is incapapble of independent thought.

Carson is harmless. At least he went to see power when he was in hospital - the only one of them to do so.

Good points.....Carson does deserve a bit of credit for that.   Clearly Wills/Diamandis hope to trouser a bit from any new ground scenario and hanging around with big business boys always has the possibiliity of opening a few doors.

I'll need to see clear evidence though that  Dunwoody have nothing to do with club shop/ program...staff etc.

But Wills is non-exec - so he doesn't vote at board meetings - effectively it's a consultancy role - but as he has nothig to offer, it will be more of 'er, James, what the fuck are all these blank pages and payments to Mr X in the accounts'. Cue a bemused looking james saying it wasn't him. The role was made for him.

So long as Diamandis isn't attending board meetings etc, even should there be any nefarious intent, I'd be reasonably confident that Fitton, Wray et al will comfortably be able to outmanoeuver James at board meetings :-)

This may well be the case, but I wont rest easy until the loathed old guard of Wills, Holt , Diamandis , Gray , and Lambert are all demonstrably off the scene.  For example who will own and run the club shop ? Dunwoody still? Who will produce the program?

The Programme is done by Acorn press in Swindon (http://www.acornpress.co.uk/) unless this is a spin off of Dunwoody I don't know. Not sure about the club shop.

IIRC, not too long ago, the club announced it was bringing production of the matchday programme 'in-house', so I assume severing all links with Dunwoody on that front. I can't find the thread though.....

Bit unfair to pick on Ben Lambert IMO. Guilty by association definitely, and not a sparkling success in the Sales and Management Dept, but at least he communicates with you when asking questions. He was very helpful when I was having major issues with STFC World, so kudos to Ben for that.

i believe acorn are an entirely seperate entity - axs may be able to confirm this?

the content is produced by the club but printing is done by acorn. the club shop hasn't been run by dunwoody since the strikeforce deal i thought? obviously whilst newbury were on the scene there was a good chance of money going into their pocket but now it should go straight into the club.

can't see any feasible reason for holt and gray to remain. diamandis' input will be worth zero to a set of intelligent businessmen like the new board, wills jr couldn't wipe his own arse. i'd thought lambert would be sent packing with his p45 but it looks as though he's responsible for interviewing new staff for the sales and marketing department...

i think they are an independant company who just do the printing but don't produce any of the content - I'll ask my mate who works for them on saturday.

Surely they can't be keeping him, the Sales & Marketing has problably been at it's poorest for many years with the amount of blank spaces around the ground etc.

Maybe they should start working with supporter groups.

IMO Wee Willy Carson is harmless, and had little or nothing todo with the state that we got into. It's undeniable also that he is a town fan so let's get off his little back for a bit.

Apart from the fact he's always stated he's a Stirling Albion fan.

I think you misheard Reg, he stated Sterling (currency)

Non-executive directors do vote at board meetings, but they take no part in the day to day running of the company.

Fitton,Wray and Arbib are all successful businessmen  - they're not going to let James Nice-But-Dim or Diamandis anywhere near the important decisions. Don't worry.
