I am sure that you will all be delighted to know that we have officially been successfully taken over. Our new owners are very astute business men, and it is estimated that our new owners have in the region of 1 Billion sterling between them.
We are not expecting to be the next Chelsea, we aren't going to be putting any bids in for Drogba or Rooney ect, but we are still fairly minted.
Our debt's are now officially cleared and our transfer embargo will be lifted soon, the future is rosy!
The Championship beckons and after that, we'll who know's. Maybe the Premiership may seem a bit of a dream but let's face it, in our current situation it's hardly unrealistic is it, in a few years or so? In the meantime though I think that us Swindon fans will settle for a couple of years in the Championship and a few good cup runs (3rd/4th round upwards, not mickey mosuse qualifying rounds) without having to sell our best players and a strong possibility of a brand new stadium with a stand on each side.
Anyway, it has been a pleasure to catch up on old times again, and I promise to be in touch soon.

I think recent events (ie being 13th in the conference) have knocked the stuffing out of the pox lot. Which is a shame. |

It's a shame that they've obviously given up the ghost. I know things look good for us and they really have fallen to new depths, but I still consider them to be our most hated rivals.
To hear them say fair play to you and such like really doesn't sit well with me. It's almost like a man on death row going to meet his maker, despite what he is and what he's done, you can't help but feel a little sorry for them.
Come on Pox where are your balls, stand up and tell us to **** off or something.

I don't think it's harsh, I think it's perfect. It's not too OTT. It doesn't go along the usual lines (as per the Adver forum) of "Ooooh you're all inbred and have webbed feet" which would be totally lacking in class and intelligence. It had to be done. The whole tone of it is just perfect  |
