A father of someone i know was apparently told by Peacs that the new fellas aren't actually that loaded, and are considering Admin so they can wipe out debt. Anyone else heard this?? Whilst forking out 200k for Cox, sure, makes absolute sense to me!

I don't see what the consortium would gain by saying they are worth £500m when the exact opposite is true. The support of the fans before the come out and say "Aha! We just want our own housing development, we're taking the club down!" If it would happen to anybody then it would be us.

Except that if you wanted a housing development in Swindon there are much easier ways of going about it than buying a debt ridden football club that owns no property and has a shit relationship with the local authority. And Administration is not really an option, as we all know and, bearing in mind that these people aren't thick, we can assume they know as well. The biggest load of bollocks I've heard about this deal so far!

Today is Colonic Irrigation Day (that's for the club, not me, by the way). How apt that today sees us welcoming new friends along with the passing of our enemas. A father of someone i know was apparently told by Peacs that the new fellas aren't actually that loaded, and are considering Admin so they can wipe out debt. Anyone else heard this?? That rumor did the rounds when Wills/Diamandis seemed to be holding up the deal - specifically that Diamandis wouldn't sign because he thought that was the route they'd go down. Even if it came from withing the club (as suggested at the time) I would class it as complete and utter bollocks, taken from the book of Diamandis stalling tactics.

Although there's always that niggling feeling of doubt that something is going to go horribly wrong, I think it's just STFC.

It seems kinda of apt that the day the man who first conquered Everest dies that AF & Co finally officially take over the club. (see 1.)
Perhaps AF should go out on to the CG pitch fully clothed in mountainous clothing (see 2.), with a Union flag and plant it in the centre circle, just for effect.(see 3) At times it's been like trying to mount Everest trying to rid the club of MD. 1. Also apt given the shuffling off of Sir John Harvey Jones (Troubleshooter) yesterday 2. Mountaineer's clothing, unless you mean an enormous Parka 3. More effective than Pook ?

its a load of rubbish. They would hardly bid £200k for a player and then ask to go into admin would they?
