So, we are led to believe that tomorrow is the day!! In view of the history behind STFC what is everybody's gut feeling?? Will it happen tomorrow? Are you expecting a statement that goes something along the lines of "We are almost there, just a couple of minor details left now - it will be sorted next week". I believe it will go through, not sure about tomorrow as it has all gone quiet on that front. It seems that lots of things are in place, just ready to drop into the CG so I am fairly confident that we have seen the last of the present lot. I will be a lot happier when AF announces he is no longer chairman designate but is taking up the reins full time - and his first action will be to sweep anything tainted by Diamandis out of the door and into the car park.

There will be silence from the club all morning and as the hours go by we'll get more and more worried, a couple of mongs on thisis will post some bullshit about the takeover collapsing and at about 3.30 there'll be a statment on the offical site saying they hope to get it sorted by monday when we'll go through the whole process again.

i'm going to close the forums i think it'll go through, perhaps pending the finer details of the payment to hmrc. my prediction is that a statement will be released at midday tomorrow along the lines of "the takeover has officially been completed, newbury board members have left, we're excited about the future, we;re in it for the long haul, payment will be made to creditors in the next few days." happy times! |

If he says that MM is the man for us then I am with him 150% Give this guy a chance and (I know it is difficult) a little trust. Without him where the hell would we be.
