I love brie, and equally stilton, depending on what mood I'm in.
Second class cheeses - goulda and edam are worth a nibble
Cheddar is largely shit as a standalone cheese though, even te matured stuff. Good in food however

Brie just doesn't have enough taste to it imo don't eat it from the fridge, let it sit out under a tea towel for a day, will be sloppy and full of flavour. and don't eat it if someone's put fruit in it, especially cranberries.

I've been to the Isle of Mull but didn't eat their cheese :x Thats like going to Egypt and not seeing the pyramids or going to London and not seeing the Queen, although Isle of Mull cheddar is better than the pyramids and most certainly better than some inbred Hun.

I may eat cheese that has chives in etc. but fruit is a complete no no in my point of view. I really really don't like the creaminess off Brie and I think that's the real reason it isn't to my palat.
