Looking forward to this one, if only because it's a cup match and so I can listen to the whole match on BBC RS.

i do love the fa cup.

some respite from the slog of the league, with the possibility that we may get a sexy tie in the next round.

tonight's match of the day is one of the only ones i watch all season.

Well if we can win then this truly is a great chance of fantastic financial rewards, much greater than a lot of people realise.

When Burton went to Old Stratford for an FA Cup replay with Man Ure 2 years ago the cut they took from the game was....

53,500 crowd (nowhere near capacity so 4th round may even be nearer 70,000) gave them gate receicpts cut of £600,000 so with a full house 4th round tie the cut will be nearer £800,000-900,000 plus the possibility of being televised which brings in another £150,000 on Sky.

A grand total of around £1,000,000 for one away game would be a fantastic start to Mr Fittons new chairmanship and may well even let us buy another player or 2 as well as securing even better security for the club finances.

Well Mr Fitton has just been on BBC RS and he hasnt totally made his mind up but is pretty sure on his choice.

It IS NOT a manager currently in a job so that rules out Ling and Nijholt ad it is also a manager who has achieved things so that must rule out Allen.

Phew, glad you mentioned it is on RS, had forgotten it wouldn't be on World.

Come on lads, let's polish Barnet off today and then get us a good tie in the next round. I fancy a nice London away day... or a CG giant killing!
