4-0 town. paynter 2, peacock and hasney.

I'm feeling optimistic. and just so i don't jinx it i'm stating that i could have jinxed it which automatically cancels the jinx.

You can't go starting a matchday thread on a non-matchday. Christ, SY's OCD will start kicking in.

2-1 - Easton, Paynter, att 5801

It will be a tough match tomorrow, no doubt. I think we will scrape through, but what do I know.

Actually one thing I do know is I am looking forward to it immensely. It's all about the football at last  Beers  (well, until next Friday when they won't announce the deal completion until 11:59pm).

iirc they changed the rules about 2years ago where suspensions were instant
only red cards are an instant suspension, 5 yellow cards etc are delayed by one match.

i'm a little concerned about the comments attributed to our players, it seems they all have an eye on the fourth round draw already. today's adver has a feature on williams' semi-final exploits (again) and the last few times we reached the fourth round...

that'll a 2-1 defeat then

A bit of optimism never hurt anyone and I like the fact theres positivity around now as opposed to takeover doom and gloom.  Were easily good enough for 4th round and no reason why the players/staff shouldnt have aspirations for it.

i've spent all evening putting my DVD's into alphabetical-chronological order by name of film. it was really tricky because i wasn't sure where to put my music DVD's - do they warrant a section of their own?

films that form part of a series, i.e. LOTR or harry potter. instead of purely alphabetical, they're sub-categorised by order of release

i wouldn't own the abominations that are the prequels. in fact i don't even own the original trilogy.

how's that for an answer? interesting question though. in my case i would have to order them in plot sequence.

You ever watched Spaced Andy?

2-1 tomorrow, not going to try and predict scores, just that we'll make harder work of it than we should.
