A few friends of mine are Forest fans and are coming down for the game on the 19th jan and staying over - anyone know any decent B & Bs they could recommend, especially around old town?

There are a couple of Victoria Hill, just down the road from Longs. Not sure if they're any good or not though.

I suppose it's a bit optimistic to think to people who live in swindon have stayed in a B&B here!
I've been looking online but none of them seem to have websites, just appear on listing pages.

Royston Hotel 01793 522990, Vic Hill
They have a room at the back that has own entrance and sleeps 4, worth a go

I'd look on laterooms.com - might be some links to reviews from there...

A lot of them use the listing pages to get there business. But it then costs more. I usually look on the listing pages then type the b & b / hotel name in to a directory and ring them direct and see what they have. Cant see it being too busy that weekend in Swindon.

The one on the corner of Hunt Street and Vic Hill is alright.....used it for family gathering overspill. Can't think of the name right now.
