Would I be right to assume the negotiations he refers to are with the FL and/or HMRC relative to the transfer embargo/clearing of debts, rather than with SSW over the terms and conditions of the share transfer? Anyone clued in?

I can't see the article, so its a guess on my part.

Think he is on about the embargo rather than the takeover in general there.

You are correct. Its just ripping quotes from STFC World. Fitton is not worried at all about it falling through.
