My source has told me this Fitton is very good friends with SSW, and was pushed into claiming the takeover was closer then it really was, but he was informed this morning about an outstanding tax bill of 6.5 million pounds, and therefor has no option but to withdraw his offer.
The Club may announce the deal is dead this afternoon, before the court action goes ahead tomorrow morning.
