Agree Ultra, considering we're played two away on the trot as well, and Bournemouth beat Orient on Boxing day as well.

Have to admit i questioned the signing of Corr, not for his ability but for his fittness.Hope he continues making me look silly  Cheesy

Yep, you've got to be happy with 7 out of 9. Similarly, I would have gladly taken 4 points from the last two away games on the basis of getting a draw at Yeovil and a win at Bournemouth. It just so happens it worked out the other way round.

Bring on the Taffs. It should be a corker Cool

Just got back from the game.

Bournemouth are probably the worst team i've seen Town play against.

First half we bossed the game, but just lacked that creative spark in midfield.  Bournemouth had the best chance of the half, but that was due to Swindon's defenders misunderstanding eachother

Second half we started brightly, and Corr then scored a sublime goal. Then we scored a second which was ruled out  for some reason.  I think it was either offside, or a foul.

From then on, Town decided to sit back on their lead, and let Bournemouth attack them at will.  Bournemouth duely accepted this invitation, and scored 2 goals.  Town then realised they had let their lead slip, started controlling the game like they did in the first half, and Corr scored his second.

Al in all, a draw is a crap result, as Bournemouth are definately a bottom 4 team.

Also some swindon fans had a fight with the police, and the police won  :x

Secondly i wouldnt be surprised if a championship team put in an offer for Corr, as he as well as Bournemouths black player (number 10) were a class above the rest of the players on the pitch

Cox's goal was disallowed due to a foul which to be honest I don't think was a foul. Seen goals gven in worse circumstances.

Ifils distribution was shocking today moreso than normal (although hes a class defender and I would never replace him) and Zaboub was a lazy bastard.

All in all 7 points from 9 is bloody superb and they all should be very proud of themselves.

Yeh i couldnt see how that was a foul.  I thought both players were tussling each other, Cox won the battle and then scored the goal.

That was the crucial moment of the game, as after this, we sat back and gave Bournemouth too much respect.  If Cox's goal was allowed, we probably would have scored another 2 for sure.

it was definitely a foul.

i was behind the goal, and it was about the only thing in the entire 90 minutes that i had a good view of.

i thought the referee had a very good game actually.

although having said that, he didn't really have anything to do, other than pluck 4 whole mysterious minutes of added time from the sky.

Did you have to wait in the stadium after the match ?.  I was gonna stay right till the end, but after the problem the Town fans had with the police, i was worried they were gonna keep all the Town fans in the stadium for 30 mins or so.

I left just before extra time, and watched the last 4 minutes outside the ground.

Why did the police and swindon fans have a fight in the first lace as well ?

well the police tried to keep those behind the goal back, but everyone else was let out with no delay.

and as for the the incident during the game... don't know for sure, i think it all started up after someone walking behind the stand got a bit gobby, and some fans tried to go round the side of the stand to continue the conversation.

Agree with Stef, Bournmuff are definitely a bottom 4 side but we made them look good by sitting back.  Why do we always seem to do that whenever we take the lead; it just invites pressure.  Once their 2nd goal went in we decided to attack again and thoroughly deserved the equaliser.  I sh*t myself when that header hit the post at the end though.

On the plus side Ifil and Corr were superb.  On the negative Zaaboub was absolutely gash. Makes me laugh that he plays in his lucky gloves - imagine how crap he'd be without them.
