Dear Fred No need to apologise ... I wasnt offended at all and I was always going to sit on my own to watch the game for 2 reasons .. firstly so I could concentrate on it and secondly so as not to annoy any Swindon fan that had to sit near me .. such as your good self .. So really no need to apologise .. youre still a pal as far as Im concerned ... Yes I admit im a gooner and I love Arsenal but I love Swindon Town just as much .. trust me when they played that time in the Premier League I hated it cos no matter what happened one of my teams lost somehow ... Hope youre having a good chrimbo!! |

hard to explain ... when I got into footy at about 8 ... i was in London and my mum was hardcore Arsenal .. when we moved to Swindon when I was 10 I REALLY got into footy as my hardcore Swindon fan dad took me to the County Ground every week
So i do love them both ...

I think it's a minor miracle you're a Town fan at all. Thousands of other 2nd and 3rd generation Swindonians support Arsenal/Spurs/Chelsea without even a nod to Swindon. Can't blame you for retaining an affection for a club your Mum supported.
