May have been Jan
I was at Hungerford in the old Diadora (Isthmian) league from 1993 - 1996, so he could well have come after I hung up my boots.
He was certainly with Lambourne Sports when I was trawling the circuit
Did you do the circuit further back than the 90's?

i'd like to see a board of directors full of people i've never heard of. no sentiment, no previous ties - just proper businessmen who know how to run a football club

I think Rogers may be used as a 'figure head,' perhaps like Carson is supposed to have been for the past few years. Ofcourse, this may not turn out to be the case in reality.
I don't see how such a role could do any harm for his reputation.

Still, Swindon doesn't have many bigger legends and there's always a PR role to be filled at any club. We'll see, but a professionally run outfit will make a change whatever.

i played against michael meaker a couple of years back :? Meaker ace. He was ace on his loan spell with us, even if it was towards the end of his career. Didn't matter so much about pace, but he was quality as a winger who wasn't scared to wave his elbows about a bit. I enjoyed watching him play.
