Isn't it Westlake Bell they use for the Holding Co ?

may have changed P2P, but thats who Davies and Co were communicating with over the FC

They was using No Show at Clarke Willmott for the Football club and Westlake Bell for the Holding Co I beleive as this is who holds Diamandis shares in proxy for him - so I would imagine there is 3 sets of solicitors involved

Clarke Willmott for the FC; Wedlake Bell act for the Holding Co; Breems (IIRC) are the ones that act as nominees for Mikey D's shares.

Dear Trevor.

I am a supporter of Swindon Town Fottball Club for over 15 years now, and despite now living in Thailand my passion for the club has not wained in the slightest. Despite my physical distance from the current debacle at the club I still follow events very closely, and would like to urge you in the strongest possible terms to get the deal completed for the sake of many thousand's and other like myself, and for the fine footballing history that our country has in general.

I may be no legal guru myself, but I suspect that the technical jargon for this scenario would be "JUST DO IT, INNIT"

What's more is that should this deal fall through, then you may well be representing your clients in a different capacity. Such as defendant's in a fraud case for example (Or have you thought of that already: $$$$$)

Your's Sincerely

Jamie Finch.

Errrrrm, I just got a reply:

"Perhaps you can alert your comrades to the fact that you have the wrong law firm – we are NOT dealing with this matter. I suggest you direct your concern to the holding company lawyers.

Yes it could be but lawyers act under instructions from their clients. We've been here before remember when we (Fans Consortium) were trying to get them to sign an NDA? Then we had the "email sent to wrong address", lawyers mysteriously not available for days at a time, and "sources close to the club saying they have done everything that has been asked for" (from this afternoon's Adver report). Just waiting for Holt to pop up and say Fitton never put in a formal offer now and we'll have a full flashback nostalgia trip.

I'm guessing we don't have a specific contact name at Wedlake Bell?

I'd guess just filling in the contact form won't get us very far but will do it anyway!
