tbh he doesn't know much more than anyone here because apparently fitton is extremely secretive about his business deals

If its any consolation, the conditional agreement was supposedly signed Tuesday, now the clubs lawyers and Fittons lawyers are thrashing out the wording, with neither party thinking the next step is theres.

Not entirely true we cant enter a 3rd period of administration under the current regime but a new regime I think we may be able to.

This was posted on the comments section of thisis. more 'source' based stuff, don't believe it myself but wondered if anyone could shed any light on whether this could be true:

This has now become a complete joke. My sources (and that is one from the HMRC) say that they had a team of Bailiffs at the game last Saturday and were prepared to walk in and close the club during the game, but a promise was made that the buy out would have been completed. I now understand from my sources that unless a full explanation can be provided as to why the debt to HMRC has not been paid they will close the gates at 6pm Thursday 20th Dec and change all the locks. (I know, I work for the HMRC)

Go to the Financial Times Online, search for Winding up orders around March this year.... once they have that order they can go in at ANY time (day or night), no need for ANY notice. Look at the laws concerning Company Insolvency and also look at the laws governing Bailiffs and company debts
