I still wouldnt bother paying for an employed manager, theres some good potential candidates out of work currently

Cotterill
Simpson ....... to mention a few.
Ling has achived nothing more than any of them. I agree CT Fitton said in his interview he would prefer a manager that doesnt need any compensation paid as in his words "Town fans would rather we spent £500k on players rather than £500k compansation to another club for a new manager buying out his 3 year contract" |

If there were no decent out of work managers then it would be totally different, but for whatever reason there is a decent pool of managerial talent unemployed at the moment. |
