Not often I agree with DV, but mostly I do here with some very subtle changes...

Granted this is based on match commentary and hearsay, but I'm entitled to an opinion nonetheless

1) The beast is just godly
2) Easton ain't far behind him
3) Let's have the old Brez back, and that is coming
4) It's a shame that Cox ain't our's
5) Let's keep hold of Allen for a bit, as he may well come good.

Surprised about Nicho as I thought the he was always rate, although he is coming back fomr injury ain't he.

Also, likes as though asides from Cox, then sturrock senior's additions to the squad ain't been up to it.

Saying that though, without seeing him play maybe a good manager will get the best out of Paynter.

But WTF is it JPM? when he was signed everybody seemed well chuffed, except for the franchise fans. A bad choice? over rated or just not used to his potential perhaps?

he's a winger, and if wingers dont get the correct service they generally dont do alot.

If they go looking for the ball (ie drift inside) they lose thier man and leave the wings exposed.

When they've had the service JPM, Roberts and even Zaaboub have looked good and caused teams problems.

When we've not played football and hoofed it about, they have not got the service so they cant feed the strikers or do alot.

No co-incidence that Paynters drop in form as come the same time was our wingers are off form/injured/suspended.

i think if ling took over, we'd see him get the best out of jp and roberts.

zaaboub looked most impressive at left-back this season, so perhaps we should persevere with him there?

i think the fact paynter has only scored in the league against teams we've beaten 4-0 and 5-0 speaks volumes.

Adams - has looked ok when fit (totalling about 10 minutes) OUT
Pook - getting better, games dont pass him by anymore. still needs to learn how to pass though
Easton - Not as good as everyone thinks, but still good. needs to add more goals
Allen - Combine him an pook and we'd have a really good young midfielder. No long term future tough
Zaboub - Mercurial, french. worth keepeing though
JP -  Dont like him at all. lacks pace. lacks skill. dosnt seem that bothered.
Roberts - Been better this season til injury. We miss his pace and provides a good outlet ball
Peacock - We miss his physicality. positioning still poor at times

Paynter - Motivated Billy = good. Apathetic billy = waste of space
Cox - our best player
Sturrock - uttely ineffective - OUT
Kaid - Nothing about him says pro footballer to me - OUT
Corr - looks like we have signed a cripple. Pity because hes good.
