I would be surprised if Fitton has not cancelled his family holiday or sent the wife and kids and stayed behind, I'm sure he will want to sign the documents himself and then install his own people during the week, and be around for a bit while it all get's up and running properly and then he will probably get on with the search for a new manager - he probably knows who he wants, but has to make an approach to the club to speak to the manager and agree compensation.
I'd be surprised if we haven't not got a new manager by next weekend.
As Fitton obviously is very busy with his day job then most of the day to day running will be left to his chief exec and possibly other members of his consortium anyway.
Let's just hope and pray that Mikey D hasn't tried to hide anything in the wording of the contract though.
Please can I be the one to pack up Mikey D's things and tell him to fuck off and never return to our football club ?

I wouldn't have thought that Fitton would cancel his holiday.....he will leave it upto the lawyers or someone involved in the consortium to sign the deal i would imagine, also maybe he could get one of them to make an approach for a manager he can still do things even though he is away.

Why should he balls up his family's holiday waiting for that bunch of incompetents to work out which end of the pen to hold? Please can I be the one to pack up Mikey D's things and tell him to fuck off and never return to our football club ? I think you might find there's a rather large queue for that one.

Fitton will have his own board in and that will include a chief exec. If the deal does get done tomorrow then we might even know who they are. I'm guessing the search for a new manager will be in the hands of the new board whilst he is away.

The best way we can welcome Fitton and his consortium would be by ending our boycotts and attending games, buying merchandise from the club shop and food from the catering outlets.

I've put off buying the third kit until this goes through, but buy the food? not ever if i can help it. unless they get chicken Balti Pies in. Maybe that should be the focus of protests after the takeover is done. (yes alright, if etc).
