Next Saturday..... Do we get L and P (we have money available) to do something to welcome Fitton? Ideas welcome? We all unite next Saturday? I know the deals not done yet but... You're getting bit ahead of yourself here Gazza....wouldn't you be better off asking this on the L and P site.....I think there's more Q and A on this site. We fully intend to celebrate Diamond Mike remaining in place by not turning up. Just looking for ideas of what people would want to do, besides there is no one on the l and p site anymore... more than on vital football but hey... I've got an image of a tumbleweed that just bounces around my forum!

Do it Gaz. If the deal goes through, it would be a fitton start to a new era (did you see what I did there?)

we will do something IF it happens. but gaz lets just hold our horses on everything until its squared away! getting the wording right on the contracts sounds very easy, but for the clowns at STFC spelling individuals names is a challenge.

Have I missed something ?? When/how is FItton going to sign the contract if he is out of the country ? And surely if he does sign tomorrow he will want to get straight onto business and deal with footballing matters Anyone else see the brighton players reaction to fans during the protests last night ?

Can you seriously see him getting the club he has tried to get 3 times now and finally get it and then be out of the country for a whole week Surely he wouldnt be away for the first game as him as new owner - We have the manager issue .....

He is on a family holiday, he doesn't come back until next sunday so he would miss his first game as owner if he takes over, the manager situation will have to wait.

A week is hardly a long time in the big scheme of things.

The only thing i worry about is whether fitton will wait until he gets back to sign the contract or whether his lawyers or a member of his consortium will sign it on his behalf when he is away, as i wouldn't trust having that deal on the table for a week, not when it comes to wills/diamandis....

If he is a workaholic then he will not want to cancel his holiday, trust me I nearly had to cancel mine in September.

the minute he signs the deal he needs to get on with the search for a manager!
I dont want Byrne and Williams in charge for another training session, let alone a game.
