It is alleged that a road marking machine was used to leave a relevant message on said drive.

The statement said...

Statement From Swindon Town F.C

Negotiations with regards to the takeover of the football club were concluded late on Saturday night, with all points now agreed in principle.

Lawyers will now meet on Monday to finalise the documentation and the target for completion is Monday evening.

I hope that it is completed on Monday evening once and for all so I can relax and enjoy christmas! I am sure I am not alone!

Next, we need to appoint a decent manager and get some new players in in January to get up the right end of the table.

Am I getting ahead of myself?

No, you've just had enough of the shit we've had to put up with.

The sooner the deadwood has been cleared out of the first team squad the better.

I only really have to go on what I read here and from my dad who is a ST holder in the Nationwide. He has said we haven't played well for probably over a month now.

  Yep... statement has disappeared.

As a good rule of thumb don't believe anything emanating form the OS until you see it, and even then its worth being sceptical. Don't forget Little was wheeled out on national TV as our new chairman....some Portugeezer was wheeled out on the pitch as our new General Manager.   Neither happened.

Diamond Mike must be loving this giving the old    :fu:  to those mug enough to still go.

With the sale of Tozer, presumably against the wishes of Fitton, he'll still be in charge by end of play tomorrow.

I went yesterday only because I have a season ticket and that was pretty much it, If I didnt have a ticket I didnt go. Just cant really be bothered. Yesterday was the worst game I have ever been to in terms of on the pitch and the atmosphere. very hostile I felt and angry which is quite right.

Probably the same as most ST holders, a Girl at work told me that if she didn't have a ST the she wouldn't have bothered going until the takeover had been sorted out.

Having commited the funds....you have a choice of how to enjoy your outlay, if its as unenjoyable as you state then not going doesn't cost anything.

Several people around me said the same thing, as we had bought season tickets we went. It wasn't costing us anything more to go so... No one bought food etc from the people I spoke to saying they wouldnt give the club anymore money.
