byrne is a clueless idiot and pretty much anyone in the stands today would have picked a better lineup and formation.

SY, have you just got back? How did the protests go?

i've been back an hour or so. i feel so empty and frustrated at everything. i've totally lost the passion i had.

the protests after the game were much of a muchness. at least 600-700. far too many people walking past looking disinterested, or even moaning about the protests.

the red cards went down well before the game apparently, it wasn't quite the sea of red cards i'd hoped for but it was far from a waste of time and i think a word of thanks to the brighton fans is in order.

sadly, our support is just far too apathetic.

a fair few of them took some red cards from the trust office to hand out in the away end and joined in.

i had a text from a brighton fan earlier this evening, they wanted to join in the post-match protests but old bill wouldn't let them.

1) 600-700, not bad at all really.
2) Moaning about the protest's!!! Just ignorance mate as they probably beleived Holt's pre match (And Anti-protest designed), that the deal wwas gonna be done today.
3) RE: thanks to the Brighton fans, post the link to their forum and I'll say cheers as well.

Apathy is the key thing, so many people around where I sit are passionate fans, most are aware of the issues, but they have the attitude that protests will achieve nothing, which although possibly true, at least they raise the awareness of the plight.

I think that the word ignorance may be more appropriate, most people probably just beleive Newbie Holt's statements in the adver ect. that everything is OK.

There was more people at today's protests than there has been at all in the past, at one point there was probably getting on for 900 but people gradually drift away and towards the end there was probably a hardcore of around 200 left.

The Brighton players should be disgusted with themselves with their gesturing as their coach went past..and then stopped, total arrogance.

I reckon that they will get a slap for that, an extremely irresponsible thing to do!

I'd left by the time the Brighton coach went past, what did their players do? (apologies if this has been posted already).  Suffice to say , judging by some of their on field antics nothing would surpise me.

They were giving us the two finger salute and wanker signs etc.

Provoked it all themselves and deserved all the shit they got. An official complaint was made to the police.
