I don't know who I'd choose between England and the Republic if I had the choice, my loyalty is rather evenly split  anyway, it depends on whether this counts as a full senior cap. If it does then he can't play for anyone other than Scotland, but if UEFA/FIFA consider it a youth game then he'd be able to play for England should the chance ever arise. I'm not sure what the situation with 'B' internationals are, I'm sure Reg will know  |

Remember Matt Le Tissier and all the fuss over him being able to play for the French - he was only locked in as an England international when he played the competative game against Italy (and missed several good chances). So SSP CAN play for Scotland B as long as it's a friendly, and still later play for England. |
