Glad to see hes won the lifetime achievment award on BBC Personality, but equally sad to see his heath going downhill.

To me Sir Bobby is a true legend and hero, I was nearly in tears when I saw him struggling to walk up to collect his award

Seeing the thread title I thought he was going to have died. Nice to see he's not dead and that he's won award. Not bad for a nights work.

Who won all the other gay ones. Young personality, overseas etc.?

Agreed with most of the results, but team of the year??  Sad reflection on the state of our sport if a team that were runners-up become team of the year.  Anybody any thoughts on alternatives??

I don't see why...they got to a World Cup Final. As much as you may argue that we didn't win it, how often do we actually win ANYTHING? Or even come close?

I think it's fair enough. Especially the way they tured it around after their poor start
