My sources tell me that we'll definitely hear something, maybe next week.
It may also be good news.
Glad I could help........................

fitton is away on business this weekend so doubt we'll hear anything until midweek at the very very earliest.
no doubt we'll get some horse manure from the board in the meantime.

Even if a deal has been struck the lawyers will take a while to put it down, then the other side need to check through, etc. So my guess would be mid-late next week.
Nothing to stop an announcement being made early, though they are pretty worthless at the moment as nobody will believe it has happened until it happens.
Unless it goes tits up of course.

After the reports of friday from Fitton I was thinking that an anouncement would be imminent - Wishful thinking on my part Maybe Fitton has decided not to say anything else unless/until the deal is signed and sealed :-))( I must admit to being quite optimistic after Fittons 'short' comment on Friday.

Yes club statements have always been worthless! I meant even a Fitton statement, because even though he could be 100% sincere in what he says there is always the chance of the other side scuppering it before its done and dusted. Incidetally, back on topic: http://www.thisisswindontownfc.co.uk/display.var.1891826.0.were_not_dead_yet_easton.php Andrew Fitton is expected to end years of financial uncertainty at the County Ground by completing a protracted takeover soon - negotiations between the two parties continued over the weekend - with Easton claiming he will be buying a "really great club".

With Mike Diamandis still involved this deal will NOT go through.
The only way for it to succeed is for him to be banished from our club.
Even despite positive talks friday i still think the rat has something up his sleeve

I think 2, almost 3 failed takeovers is quite adequate proof really!
