Quote from: "STFC_Gazzza"
Because I was a board sympathiser at one time, I do personally feel somewhat responsible for the shit going on now even though I never had anything to do really. I did come around as people know for Cheltenham and all that... and started the save-our-swindon thing, I feel guilty about the state the club is in and blame myself for part of it, even though I never put any money in or made any decisions etc I dont kow I still feel guilty or maybe it is regret... I dont know.

I know personally I have not bought things I normally would this season and have told my dad in canada hwo normally gets me stuff from the stfc shop for xmas not to bother etc. I wont be sponsoring a player next season but hey... I feel if I comment on the situation I would be somewhat of a hypocrite.

Thing is I feel that maybe if I didnt sponsor players, go to club functions like quizes, play on the pitch, do a sponsorship etc then that would have cut some money off from them and helps move them sooner, not that my £700.00 makes much difference but hey... I do feel like shit and if the club goes under I will blame myself and feel bad about it.... At the time I thought I was helping the club now I see I was helping to delay the inevitable.

Why didn't you admit that it was your fault before all this shit happened.

FFS - I've been blaming Wills, Diamandis, Holt et al

 Cool

Fuck off Gaz it's people like you that have been the backbone of the club for generations. Everyone knows it's all my fault anyway - Andronikou said so - so don't try and steal my thunder.

I've no interest in Gaz's pit - I'll leave that to the likes of you and Yeovil

or is it the rather over ambitious North Stand development in the 70's?

are we sure it wasn't over extending ourselves in the 1950's by going for Floodlights?

or maybe the move from Croft is coming back to haunt us financially?

And finally ... THE question for Mav:

The public have a right to know if, as someone previously interested in local politics, you have been considering a return. That being the case, is there any truth to the story that the meeting with Yeovil in the toilets was to see if anybody would stand against you?

If you readf the accounts from around that time you'll observe we made money out of being in the Prem, what fucked us was trying to get back there.

However, at least that was driven by a high motive....unfortunately the failure allowed Newbury in somewhat under the radar of most.....and it is that single fact that has led to the demise of our club.

In the unlikely event of a future for the club.......I'll be proposing to the Trust, the setting up of a Truth and Reconcilliation Commision, where the likes of Gazza and other former Board pasties, can reveal the depth of their collusion.
