Maverick what's your take on these events?

Do you regret spending hours slagging off the fans consortium and stubbornly defending the board of this football club?

With hindsight would you have done things differently (on a personal level)?

Not meaning to pick you out, just that you're probably the one poster who spent so much time analysing Bill Powers motives, picking holes in most protests that were planned.

I would have posted this on Thisis but to be honest I can't be bothered with that board this evening.

I know we are all angry Jan

but I disagree with this post, I have had many chats with Mav and he is not the pedantic enemy that everyone makes him out to be

People should leave off of him, just as I should leave off of Gazza

Maverick's posts have been no different to most people's, including mine, in the respect that it's like a record on loop most of the time.

And we could have all stepped up a few gears months ago, so let's not go down that route eh?

To be honest as someone who has not had the pleasure of meeting Maverick, I just can't agree with you Fred.

Like I say I'm only asking Maverick because (like an anti-Bart) he's the one board defender that sticks in the mind.

Just a few honest questions, that's all, nothing nasty about it, no offence intended.

KR is just KR, living in his own little bubble world of strangeness.

Maverick backed the wrong horse,  especially with his bottom line that,, that it wasn't in Wills' interest to see the club go under....but he did argue his case without resort to personal abuse.   An admissioin of this and 30 mins in the stocks of the CGH garden should be sufficient punishment.

I think he even cautiously backed protests recently.

I have met and talked at length with both Mav and bart

and, whilst I disagree with them a lot of times, I understand their thinking and why they say things

Nothing wrong with having differing opinions

Turn my back on the rot
That's been planning the plot - because I'm gonna
No need for me to wait - because I wanna
No need two, three, too late – because I'm gonna

Hate to say I told you so - alright
Come on
Do believe I told you so

I'm more worried that the previous verse has something about giving and receiving.
