In that case I'd watch Devizes Town. For me it’s all about the ground, the away fans, the concourses, getting lashed, proper “invasion” away trips – all the things that go with watching professional football.
The away trips are the best. You just don't get that the same with non-league football  Sad

I can't imagine saturdays without it. Whenever there is an international game I feel lost. Might have to play golf, or just watch jeff stelling in the pub and gamble on other games to make it interesting.

WTF are we going to do?

Not give up and start afresh.  Only option.

With the right people running the show we could get a decent fanbase.

I really don't think I can face non league football. I'll probably go to Bath City but only once in a while and more because it's so close to my house.

All is not lost - over here in the far far south west we have a league of two - Woolpack Wanderers & Garrison Gunners - I'm sure a bit of variety would be welcome + it's agreat place for a piss up.

I must add after 37 years as a supporter the one common thread has been total shite running the club  Sad

As I cannot get to games I won't have to watch the thread on the matchday page - STFC RIP

Seeing as i don't drive i haven't got much choice with regards to going and watching somebody else plus it wouldn't be the same as watching a Club where you don't know anybody.

No disrespect to Supermarine etc but it just isn't for me.

Id actually quite like the whole 'starting a new club from scratch' idea IF the current situation is buggered.

No conspiracies, no cheating, no CVA's, no lying boardroom bastards, a club with a community feel.  As long as it is NEVER done in the same way as Franchise.

I agree 100%. Get rid of all the lying cheating dispicable scum and dead wood, wipe the slate clean, bite the bullet and start afresh with a properly run club. A football club is far, far more than what division you happen to be in and having big away grounds to visit. It's a part of you and there's no way I could start following another team. I will continue to support the Club in whatever shape or form it might take in the future. And it WILL carry on in some shape or form. It will NOT die - FACT!

Who knows? Supporting Town could actually become enjoyable again.

Will we have open trials like at AFC Wimbledon? I'd like to have a go at getting in the team. But only if it doesn't put a stop to having a few beers on a Saturday.

I can't remember what I was watching but those two were on the TV recently, they showed a game between them and explained the story.

can't see starting a new club working. there aren't any fans, to ym knowledge (which is mostly based on here admittedly) with the vision and the skills to make it work. plenty of people with the passion and prepared to put hard work in, but you need a lot more than that
