anyone think they might get a chance under byrne? sturrock obviously didn't want them, whether or not this was because of their ability or that they were signed by powers above him is unclear, i've not seen almeida or anzité play. i note anzité has been included in the suad for the carlisle game, so that confirms he does have a contract here although he was recently on trial at scunthorpe. i was shocked to find out that arrieta is on a two year deal as well :shock: |

Surely Almeida would be in the team now instead of a 17 year old if he was rated? Arrieta has no chance with the options we have upfront at the moment.

Arrieta has no chance with the options we have upfront at the moment. probably, but sturrock seems like the bullish type of person who'd prefer an untested youth player over someone with at least some experience of proessional football. i guess it's irrelevent now as tozer has showed himself to be decent enough. |

Height: 1.83 m or 1.95m is that without and with heels on? It is unusual that 3 or 4 sites give his height at different levels, 1.83 he is tall...1.95m he is huge! 6 foot or 6 foot 5! I havent seen him though so I have no idea which is right, and anyway Sonic...heels? have you heard something about him you wish to share?  |

Arrieta is mint on FM2008, scored 28 for me last season partnered with Paynter (he only managed 14).
On that alone he should be given a chance.
