Dave Byrne hasn't done wonders for the youths he inherited a very good collective of youngsters. Credit should be given to the guy who signed Macklin, Lukas, Chris Allen etc, not some bloke who turns up and can't believe his luck.

Credit should be given to the guy who signed Macklin, Lukas, Chris Allen etc, not some bloke who turns up and can't believe his luck. wonders no. but he's done pretty well with them. he has brought a few in himself(tozer most notibally) lucas came from southampton.macklin and allen through the cofe.so none of the youth managers past and present have done it all themselves.that said no way should byrne be given the managers job full time. but i think if there's no takeover then dont be surprised if he gets it. |
