Starts tomorrow at Kandy[5am].My team would be Michael Vaughan (capt), Alastair Cook, Ian Bell, Kevin Pietersen, Paul Collingwood, Owais Shah, Ravi Bopara, Matt Prior (wkt), Matthew Hoggard, Monty Panesar, James Anderson.Got to be Jimmy,Harmy is still not  100% fit, guess jimmy isn't either but i would go for him over Harmy at this point.

I'm debating if getting up at 5 would be a good idea, not sure if it is tbh Sad

there's no way they are going to play 7 batsman larwood. it's gonna be:

1 a cook
2 m vaughan
3 i bell
4 kp
5 p collingwood
6 o shah/r bopara
7 m prior
8 r sidebottom
9 m hoggard
10 j anderson/s harmison
11 m panesar

noise is that anderson will get the last seamer's spot. even though broad doesn't seem to be in contention he wouldn't half improve that tail a bit. shah v bopara is a very hard call to make

It'll be that, with possibly Shah nicking the last recognised batman's slot. Personally i'd like them to stick Harmy in and him to rip them to shreads, but being low confidence i can't see either happening (i wait to be proved wrong on the second part Smiley )

i'm watching SA v NZ right now rich.

anyway...boeta's line up looks spot on to me, shah and anderson in ahead of boparda and harmison.

didn't shah do quite well on the sub-continent when he first came on the scene?
