Apologies for starting a new thread, is there a football league deadline of Friday 30th November to get the takeover done?
Obviously the Inland Revenue's deadline is tomorrow i was just wondering whether the football league has this deadline as well?

Are we likely to hear anything tomorrow regarding the Inland Revenue deadline and what that means for our future? Last I heard I'm sure Bob was denying it even existed, could make for some interesting back-tracking. Friday statement anyone?

You won't hear anything in the public domain for 14 days from the WUP being issued.

But there FA won't have to set a deadline though will they. If we are issued with a winding up order then we receive a points deduction directly as a result of that! Doesn't matter if it's Tomorrow, next week, next month or next year. Sure it is a deadline , but maybe it is just a case of it being automatically triggered if the HMRC deadline is triggered.

Is that a rule then? Winding up petition = points deduction? If so that's ridiculous.

No it isnt.
But remember we are already 5 months overdue on a CVA payment- as well as owing the revenue an additional £1.5m at least. Thats not counting the other creditors.

No I don't think so. Only if we actually go into administration again, which is an automatic 10 point deduction.

The football league have the sanction to impose a points penalty- in the event we break insolvency rules as Leeds did.
In effect- we are breaking them and have been for 5 months as long as the CVA is overdue
