http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/sportlatest/display.var.1866680.0.trios_interest_in_town_job.phpTHREE candidates have thrown their hats into the ring to replace Paul Sturrock as Swindon Town boss, the Swindon Advertiser understands.
The trio, who include two former fans' favourites, declared their interest in the vacant County Ground post foday.
And another high-profile figure has indicated that he will formally apply for the role in the wake of Sturrock's return to Plymouth earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Town have indicated that no decision will be made until the conclusion of Andrew Fitton's takeover bid.
See full story and exclusive interviews with the three candidates in tomorrow's Swindon Advertiser. Chalky White Luke Nijolt & Cotterill or Mad Dog

whoever it is must be either clinically insane or incredibly stupid. Or fancy a job where you get a guaranteed 250K a year for say 3 years, but will probably do < 1, then get a sack of compo.

I will never be able to look at Chalky White the same way again after he got my dad so ridiculously drunk on shots at the legends ball that he locked me out of our room and fell into a coma like sleep which he refused to wake out of even with me and SSP banging the door down! :-))(

I can see clearly now.......didn't much like Nash at the time being more of a Dillinger and Leroy Smart, Delroy Wilson, your cool operator. Ken Boothe for UK pop reggae, with backing bands sound systems,.... man. Nevertheless, I now realise nowt wrong with a bit of pure pop.

One of my dads mate applied for the England job when Kevin Keegan got the sack, he got a reply and has the letter framed at home.

I applied for the Swindon job a few years back and have a similar framed letter of total and utter rejection it goes along the lines of...blah blah blah...inexperienced...blah blah blah...get lost...blah blah blah.
