To just back up what Fred is saying, if his source is who I think it is then this info is 100% reliable.

Any idea why Banbury says we have 2 weeks left Fred. Have HMRC extended the deadline or am I missing the point?

Once a WUP is served, there is a 14 day period where it is against the law for a creditor to advertise it. This gives the debtor 14 days to try and come to an agreement with the creditor over possible payment.

Thats fine in most cases, but the HMRC have already told us to fuck off, no further payment arrangements apart from full and final settlement will be entered in to.

Thats where Banbers is getting the 14 days from Batch

We do live by the skin of our teeth.  I wonder if the reported 500k compensation package will be waved under HMRC noses as a make weight until a reported takeover goes through

Despite reports that the takeover is heading tits up in the Adver it may explain the reasoning for Bob Holt’s quick retort on the official site that there is no collapse.

If they can string the takeover along a little longer it may help swing HMRC into giving us another breather.

Out of curiosity does anyone know if a winding up order can be stopped if only a sum of the whole amount owed is paid back or is it purely at HMRC’s discretion?  EDIT: Fred has answered before I asked.   Cheesy

surely any patience HMRC had ran out a loooong time ago.  they'll get their money somehow, its the other creditors that won't.  Besides, I suspect HMRC are in an even more shitty mood than usual after the lost discs balls up.

I'm a bit confused.

So, Fitton stumped up 200k to extend the exclusivity thing (200k which he won't see again whatever happens), and in the final few days to get a deal done he's fucked off abroad on business?

Hope it's a pretty lucrative business trip as that's a lot of dosh to piss up the wall and walk away from.

Or am I very confused and completely missed something?

Fuck me lets just get back on the TUMDFC site and reveal all.  This is doing my head in.  When Fred starts talking in riddles you know it's not good news.
