What are the chances of judges recognising our "rescue package" in the form of Fitton should a winding up order be produced?

That has to be the way forward now.  I was hoping a similar approach could have been adopted with respect to Bill Power's offer, but Paul D advised at the time that the approach was unduly risky.  The end-game feels a little closer now, so maybe such an approach (alerting HMRC to Andrew Fitton's offer) is now appropriate.

HMRC are well aware of Fitton's offer - that and his "downpayment" on the £2m we owe them outside of the CVA when he started negotiations are the only things that have prevented them from issuing a WUP already.

But I just find it utterly shocking that one man could single handedly bring down an entire football club with a 125 year history. I know that we are not a PLC, but even then there must surely be some sort of legal safeguards in place to stop this from happening. (Obviously not though)

We may all blame Diamond Mike but for me the blame will lay entirely on the shoulders of SSW, After all he is the only one with the authority to negotiate, accept or decline any takeover bids.

I feel physically sick, and utterly helpless.
