Fred do you know any more of the issues causing concern? Or is it still the er, certain individual?

Only that the deal is scuppered by one man, because there is not enough money in it for him personally is what I have heard

We are asking HMRC for more time but they have told us to fuck off.

So what are the chances of a deal being done, and sharpish? Also, any insight into the manager situation?

Sorry about all the questions mate, you seem to know more than anyone else!

Rightly so, HMRC have waited for more than long enough, I'm glad they are not giving them more time as it put's the pressure on the board to sell, obviously it's Diamond that's scuppering this deal.

As i said before it's either takeover or no club, the club's plan z isn't going to work as time has ran out.

I'm sorry Fred but I don't believe that, from out of the blue, we're 3 working days from closing down.

It's hardly out of the blue - the fact we owed the Revenue nigh on £2m on top of the CVA has been public knowledge for well over a month now, plus the fact that Fitton paid a couple of hundred grand to hold them off for a few weeks at the start of his negotiations. So the clock's been ticking for some time now and the Revenue are not known for their patience, so it can't really be a great surprise to anyone.

What are the chances of judges recognising our "rescue package" in the form of Fitton should a winding up order be produced?

old co/new co

Old co is bankrupt and keeps the debts. Newco liase with the liquidator to purchase assets at nominal values that will help pay the creditors of Oldco. Possibly 5p in the £

FFS.

How long does a WUP take to get to court. One a WUP has been served can you avoid it coming to fruition by paying the debts off?

I feel sick.

Also Fred, if that happens   who chooses which bid wins? Also does it mean the end of our FL status?

Also Fred, if that happens who chooses which bid (to buy from the liquidator) wins? Also does it mean the end of our club? It must do liquidation = game over, right?
