.....I know Tony Adams is in Swindon this week, doing something for Nationwide, so if anyone sees him don't put 2 and 2 together.
But what about the big fella....apparently lives locally, has said he wants to manage again after teh debacle of Wycombe, may have learned something?

I'd be a bit underwhelmed, but I'm not sure why because he'd be a high profile capture.

He'd be good for a drink, but no thanks as a manager

No, no, no. The bloke is not manager material. Heard some truely awful stories from one ex-Wycombe player re: Adams.

Don't want to go into to much detail, but it seems that ever since he sorted himself out, rehab wise, he sees himself a little whiter than white.
For instance he once disciplined one player for having a go at the linesman, nothing out of the ordinary, but Adams called the guy into his office and said you either go to anger management classes or I'll fine you two weeks wages.
The player was a bit taken aback and said it's what goes on in the game, you used to do it all the time, to which Adams reply was along the lines of "yes, it's what I used to do, before I saw it was wrong..."
I've just heard that he's a little bit weird and probably gets away with it as a number two, but as the main man, I don't think he can handle it.

Tony Adams is a legend. His book is a hell of aread, he had problems and he sorted himself out. I have a lot of respect for that, a hell of a lot of respect.
I would love it.
