Are we becoming seriously undisciplined?
i don't think so. the ref today and last week was far too card happy.

unfortunately, these stupid bookings may cost us both financially and in terms of results.

we weren't great, they weren't much better. brez made a string of excellent saves and looks back to his assured best.

pook had a decent game, easton drifted in and out at times. roberts and mcgovern were frustrating, showing flashes of ability but then disappearing entirely.

paynter was disappointing again, kept coming deep and isolating himself.

Other than the red cards (which added to the overall occasion) I completely enjoyed the game. We were crap and should have lost but were saved by a superb performance (back to his old best) by Brezovan, and won by a penalty that was won and scored by a 'shithead' (I don't think those twats understand that they have two in their team).

By the best moment for me was their 'goal', they score, the fans on the bank giving it all that to the Town supporters, only to realise that.. oh no the flag has gone up. FUCKING PRICELESS

Here here, thoroughly enjoyed 2nd half, its not often we get that sort of drama in the lower divisions and yes, seeing rovers celebrate that goal was the moment of the season so far at home.

brez fucking superb!!!!
easton and pook were great but we need a midfielder who can unlock a defence more than anything else.comminges also had the best game i've seen him have.
roberts may have scored but was awful today,as was ifil.
oh and jp was crap too.
but we won so hey ho,and i wonder who the next boss will be?

Read this, they rip into Styles big time.
http://www.bristolrovers.premiumtv.co.uk/page/MatchReport/0,,10328~1175167,00.html

"Roberts fell over like a weakling"  OK is wasn't a blatent penalty but what about the shove on Cox in the box in the first half when their player was looking for him and not the ball

After they have had sack loads of penalties this season, combined with the fact that the wind seemed to blow over some of their players today (including that fairy Phillips) I don't think they can complain

It may have been slightly soft, but there was contact on the penalty. So tough shit.

Other than that Styles was awful and the game descended into glorious farce!
MArvellous.

Plus points - We got 3 points and Brez seems to be back to his best.

Minus points - We were shite and didn't deserve the win.

Stiles was a complete wanker and seemed to be completely clueless.

I hope the club appeal both red cards as from what I saw neither were justified.

Rovers also seem to have more than their fair share of chavvy little cunts....

the last rovers match rob styles reffed was against Reading in 2000, on that day two Bristol Rovers players got sent off?

what was the last game we had styles? was it that one against Bournemouth where he sent of Andy Gurney for us and Josh Gowling for the muff?

Did anyone else think Pook played excellent today. My motm.

No, Brez was my MoM by far. We would've lost today without him.

Ha, from Rovers site:

'The match saw one extremely suspicious spot-kick, four red cards, a splattering of yellow cards and one shamful refereeing display'.

They are bitter are they? Cool
