Not recomended, fucks the stitching. Wash them with warm water and stuff them with newspaper, stick them in the airing cupboard and when they are dry apply dubbin.

may sound funny but i used to enjoy cleaning my football boots.

a hard sat/sun playing football then home, wash boots and put by radiator to dry.

then as foggy said add dubbing and get them looking new again.

My mum used to go mental when the airing cupboard was full of boots and gloves, trouble is i had to have a pair of boots for training and then match day boots and 3 or 4 pairs of gloves, but i also used to enjoy cleaning my kit.

Should put them in a pillow case so they don't get scuffed up.
