I thought public lynchings went out in the middle ages.
The attitude of the average england fan is a disgrace, it's almost like they wanted their side to fail just to have a go at the management/fa/players.
Fucking booing at half time when you need to get back into the game, what kind of support is that?
Phil Scolari has been proven right, whoever would want the poisoned chalice of the england manager's job would have to be insane imo.

They got booed off at half time due to one of the most abject performances I've ever seen from an England side. What are the 80,000 English there supposed to do, politely applaud? Sing songs about how great McLaren is?

i would agree with you onthis - usually, but not this time. the players need to knowwe think they are a bunch of fucking pansies and prove us wrong. I only hope that if anything comes out of this its that playing for your country is a privilege, not an annoyance that gets in the way of you being knocked out in the semi-finals of the champions league. if mclaren had any honour at all he would have resigned immediately. i bet Nike are thinking twice about buying Umbro now - can't see them flogging many replica shirts this summer

If he gets a pay off, it's criminal. I think he'll get £2m according to Sky this morning! How come they don't do a performance related pay kinda scheme? For managers and players?

IMO the players shouldn't be paid to play for their country. It should be an honour and privelege to play....

I agree Rob, What the is the point of booing? it is hardly going to lift the players is it? And why do the morons in the crowd have to boo the oppositions national anthem :wanker: .It is a sure fire way of firing up your opponents. Another thing, why dont England players sing the national anthem like the rugby boys do? Over paid primma donnas, fuck em if they dont want to play for the country .
