Ah right.

It's not the first time he's done it either.

I know, he will cost us a win at some point as teams will claim he punched it.

If it hadn't have been offside it was deliberate handball = straight red. In fact he could have got a straight red for scything down the Lids player from behind.

That said he was easily our most dangerous forward. Not sure what had happened to Paynter , he just doesn't look like scoring and loks nearly as slow as me.

How many more times?! HANDBALL IS NOT A FUCKING STRAIGHT RED CARD!!! Only if it stops a "clear goalscoring opportunity"

It's a basic rule yet nobody seems to know it

Oooh get her. OK, but a second yellow for unsporting behaviour would have the same net effect, Cox leaving the field of play.

It would have been a yellow though and he'd just been booked.

To be fair to BP, he played most of the second half in midfield.

True enough. I just didn't think he looked mobile in the first half.

I'm not trying to get on his back, just an observation. Hopefully he'll get a goal and look good again.

I agree - he doesn't look fit.

Maybe he's carrying a knock, I suppose with the squad as it is we can't really freshen things up so we're having to struggle on. Corr's clearly not ready to start.

cox was lucky not to get a straight red for that tackle from behind - looked two footed as well...

according to the bloke i was sat next to, paynter doesn't enjoy playing alongside cox as he's never sure where cox will be. billy scored his goals at PV alongside a targetman, not playing as the targetman - in fairness his goal at wickham showed that he works well off a big man.

i don't think he relishes leading the line. cox isn't disciplined enough to stay in one position but you can't fault his workrate
