Bill Power was a real plonker giving money to Wills and the board before an agreement was finalised...Obviously, Fitton is not such a fool. Sounds like we could be in sensible hands soon.

Now this sounds like good news, I cant help thinking that this wouldn't have happened if Mikey D hadent (allegedly) fallen out with SSW.
Hopefully we will get this all sorted soon as its fucking dragging on and killing the club.
Heres to Mr Fitton succeeding.

A masterstroke by Mr Fitton. He obviously wasn't prepared to pay silly money for the shares of a debt written business and why should he? So he will buy the majority holding for just £1 and then deal with the debts. So the deal will still cost him and his consortium over £4 million but i doubt the deal will even come close to £18 million. The most pleasing thing is the management overhaul. Mike D gone, Bob Holt gone, Sandy Gray gone. Ohhhhh yes

As that money was supposed to be used to pay of debts then no he wasn't This sounds to me like the same deal that Mike Wilks / Power offered SSW

P to P
Powers money was just used as a fighting fund for survival and to suck the last bit of money out of the club. Bill and Mark D was obviously taken in by them.

Fucking hell, Orient cost Hearn £5, and that was 13 years ago. How we've fallen!
Seriously, it's sounding very promising.

Good positive article. Fingers (an everything else) crossed then.
From the article it seems that SSW will drop his £3m for the shares. Which is good news. I have no problem getting every last penny he has put into the club back plus (e.g.) £1m if a ground redevelopment of a profitable nature happens, provided the club own the ground. I guess we'll have to wait and see if this is the deal in the offing for him.
