FFS fella's this is half the problem with the english set up, thinking that some of these eastern european teams are so shit you've won before kick off. Just because you may not have heard of many of their players doesn't mean they have no chance. Shows a touch of arrogance imo. B.O. - As for supporting Italy fair play to you, each to their own. |

I also agree, however if Town were in a situation come the end of the season where we need Port Vale to do the business against Yeovil (two names out of thin air, don't check fixtures) for us to have a chance to make it into the play-offs then I'll be praying to God they do it - the same applies here, though perhaps England should have been the masters of their own destiny all along... well said ben, bacon sarnies all round!

I'll be hoping you guys make it through, no disrespect whatsoever but if you guys make it out of that group it will be outstanding - England would probably be dead and burried by now in your group. Also if Scotland make it through and we don't then the FA and the England camp may finally take a look at themselves and realise that it's hard work and commitment that is important. We have got the players with the ability, that shows in the Champs League all the time but as soon as they take to the field in an England shirt they start to believe their own hype and stop making sure the basics are done right, which is criminal. |

Its the same in most major footballing countries, but some very average players that have never really performed consistantly well in an England shirt are hailed as 'world class' by the dross media (sun etc) and everybody believes it. In truth only Michael Owen is world class and Beckham (not anymore), Gerrard, Lampard etc not so.
