Holt being wheeled out 2 days before an announcement means trouble.
Exactly, when Mr Holt speaks it normally means the proverbial shit will hit the fan. Oh great!

Clearly where a plan is not 100% certain to happen contingency has to be provided. This Investigating "Plan B" was stated a long time ago by the club, and is the correct thing to do too. Don't put your eggs in one basket.
What I wonder is why mention now when an announcement is due and the clubs internally set deadline approaches. Maybe the Adver wondered what was happening with the 16th approaching, rang up to ask and got told what they got told. But it makes me nervous too, very nervous. I'll be happy if that's just paranoia!

I wonder if Bob being wheeled out is indicative of Mike's involvement within the negation process once again and as a result pre-emptive that the latest deal will be down the pan in the very near future.

Don't worry about it, everything will be fine, relax... Come on if Uncle Bob's preparing for the worst it doesn't mean the worst is gonna happen.
I feel at times Bob and co have a certain occupation of France thing going on "friends of Germany, ve vill not harm you, if you do az you are told. Ve are your friends"

Talking about jumping to bloody conclusions!!
Sensible thing to do really. The article sounds a lot more positive than it does negative.

indeed batch but the fact they've put a story on the site this afternoon with more to come tomorrow concerns me. this is usually indicative of a club statement.. I think we are in agreement. Of course it could be a rubbish 'hurry up' attempt by the incumbents to get Fitton shifting faster. Or nothing at all. I'll go for the latter until I know otherwise.

Of course the reasonable course of action, but we learnt long ago this lot don't do reasonable. My reading is that Plan B means this will fall through and the CVA rumoured points deduction is there, possibly along with a taxman winding up order.

Andrew Fitton has promised openness so we can only hope he'll give us some info in due course, barring that, this looks all too ominous.
