true - i was living in the italian district of melbourne when they lost to S Korea in the 2002 world cup, they had a bit of a riot down Lygon street, burnt all the bins / phone boxes / benches / trees etc and apparently kicked the shit out of one unfortunate korean bloke who was watching the game in a restaurant.

Seriously though, it is crazy what's going on over there. First of all i see no reason why he was shot. Secondly its crazy the way the fans have reacted. And thirdly I'm finding it hard to understand how UEFA aren't pressuring the Italian FA to sort things out - the Italian league is becoming a joke what with the TV contract saga, the match-fixing and now this
