i'm on nildram, not had a problem but they've just been bought by tiscali which fills me with dread...costs £25p/m for 8mb broadband with a 25gb cap, if you don't need that 25gb cap then £20 for same speed but with a 10gb cap

Arf, Tiscali I did a bit of work at Kingston in U'll who had the contract for Tiscali ADSL support before they went up market to Bombay and I can honestly say from top to bottom they do not give fuck.

Some of the complaint letters were brilliant mind but I actually herd a senior manager in the smoke room quietly telling a supervisor to 'lose two sacks’ of complaint letters.

Mind you the Bombay natives are probably a lot clearer than some of the natives that worked there in Hull.

TalkTalk are worse....you talk to their call centre and you end up telling them how to do their job...and although their call centre is in India everyone you talk to surprisingly have english names but sound indian.

The best ISP i have been with is www.bethere.co.uk

Its £14 a month for unlimited* 8 meg service. Or £18 a month for upto 24 meg unlimited.

P.S.  Do not go with Tiscali they are a bunch of cowboys.  They cut my internet for no reason, left me with net for 3 weeks! avoid like the plague!

Bethere are a good service and quite cheap but they dont cover anywhere near the whole country yet.

Also be very wary of "unlimited" broadband...THERE IS NO SUCH THING.

Every ISP has download limits called FAIR USAGE POLICY, check the small print, it can be as little as 10gb with some and 40gb or even 60gb with others, as a guide....AOL FUP is 40gb per month download, BETHERE FUP is 40gb, TISCALI is 20gb and BT who I am with have an FUP of 60gb per month.....watch for the small print!
