With Ifil out Saturday (accourding to Sturrock in last night interview, bbc). Who's likely to fill in for him Saturday?

Nicholas, Vincent?

Blackburn. It's only the FA Cup. And we'll probably lose anyway so why not?

couldnt care lesss about this game, yes its more money for the club but we need Ifil and the rest of the players fit so dont care if we fielded the youth team being quite honest.

If we didnt have the embargo on us I wouldnt say that mind.

Gazzza....the money could be critical,  a few seasons ago Wycombe got to the semis as a mid table L1 side,  imagine if as seems likely the Fitton deal falls through, how do we pay the CVA then?

I'm quite looking forward to this actually, I like cup games... Palace last year was great fun so it'd be good to get through a few rounds and in with a chance of a 'big' team. Hopefully Sturrock will take it seriously and put a decent team out.

Wycombe will win to complete the set.

Knocked us out the League Cup 2 seasons ago
Knocked us out of the LDV Trophy last season
Knocked us out of the FA Cup this season

I went to the 4-1 game. Was it really 4 years ago?! How time flies!

I'd play Blackburn alongside Hasney. Not because i don't care about the result but because I think he'd do a good job. As Reg said, the money could be crucial and if the team get their act together on the day there should be no excuses for not winning this game.

I don't get all this apathy about the FA Cup. We know we're never going to win the damn thing, but look at the possibilities if/when you get to the third round. A big premiership club at home would generate some interest around the town, draw in a few casual supporters - we might even perform and earn a replay! Bit of national exposure, no harm there, a bit of money (hopefully with a new board in place to 'invest it wisely') and kick on from there. Success breeds confidence.

The only cup competition we're in with a shout of winning is the JPT, and look what happened there....

I'm back in my happy zone....

I know he got a slagging for the JPT game but he looked quite good against Charlton and was up against a really tricky player
